Antique English Japanned Bamboo Wall Mirror

This unique Brighton Pavilion style bamboo mirror dates from the Aesthetic Movement period of the late 19th century. Measures 36" wide by 36" tall by 7" deep. Candle platforms feature their original leather paper surfaces, and the left and right panels feature lovely lacquered floral designs. Beveled mirror is not original. There are no other known restorations or repairs of any kind. Rear carries a stamped mark that reads " M & C " and " No. 872 ", which are likely the mark of the maker and a style number. We also have a matching side table and display cabinet for sale. These items are in storage in Bronx Ny and may be seen in person by appointment.
