Description:
This bentwood armchair, circa 1900, is believed to be by Thonet. Measures 23" wide, 31.5" high and 24.5" deep. Seat measures 20.5" wide, 20.5" deep and 19" high. Its flat seat and curved seatback each feature pierced designs. Possibly designed by Josef Hoffmann. Overall condition is very good. There is a clean break to the bentwood stretcher where it is affixed to the rear leg which has been reglued.
