Description:

This ceramic planter by the Worcester Royal Porcelain Co. likely dates from 1863 to 1893, based on the hallmark introduced in 1863 and the absence of any additional marks. Measures 14 x 14 x 9 1/4 inches and weighs an estimated 20-25 lbs. There are a few old chips along the top edge and from other places along the side, and a hairline crack that can be seen on the underside. The piece has not been restored in any way. It could benefit from a gentle cleaning.
