Description:
Leonard Beck was a Wisconsin artist who worked in the Magic Realism (Fantastist) movement of t he 40s-60s along with area artists such as John Wilde and Karl Priebe. He is known for dream-like scenes employing fantasy and abstraction. His work is in the collection of the Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend. Here are two unusual watercolors representing Japanese-inspired dress. Unframed. Sold as a pair. Signed and dated.
