Holland, AaronAaron Holland is native to Saukville, Wisconsin and studied art at the Bougie Studio(atelier) in Minneapolis. He was in apprenticeship to Peter Bougie and Brian Lewis who both taught Classical Realism in drawing and oil painting.
Holland currently resides and continues to paint at his studio in Door County, Wisconsin. He is known primarily for his refined watercolors and 'plein air' oil paintings of landscapes and traditional still-life, but explores a wide variety of genre.
Holland teaches painting workshops in Door County, at the Miler Art Museum, Peninsula Art School, and regularly at The Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art , and previously at the Minnesota River School of Fine Art , as well as privately.
