Austrian Bentwood Settee Loveseat By J. & J. Kohn

This antique bentwood settee by Kohn of Austria dates from the late nineteenth century and is in excellent condition. Caning is old, possibly original, and has no tears or other damages. The chair is structurally sound and requires no repairs or restorations. The finish is a deep, very dark eggplant-tinted brown. It measures 45.75" wide, 26" deep, and 40" high. The seat measures 42.5" wide, 18.5" deep and the seat height is 18.5". This chair resides in our client's gallery on the Upper West Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
