Description:
Included here is a pair of antique porcelain covered vases with raised floral decoration which were converted to table lamps in the early twentieth century with the addition of painted and decorated wooden bases to match. This pair of vases mostly likely were made in Dresden Germany and their quailty is comparable to those created by Meissen. There are various small chips from the raised flowers, and there are obvious cracks and losses to the painted finish on the wooden bases. Each is electrified and in fine working condition. The porcelain urns alone measure 9.5" high, and the lamps measure 18" to the top of the sockets. They measure 7.5" in diameter. These lamps reside with our private client in Parsippany Nj.
