Hungarian Art Deco Figural Table Lamp By Alexandre Kelety

This extraordinary lamp by the Hungarian-born sculptor, Alexandre Kelety, dates from the 1930s and features a female figure in cast white metal holding a sphere of carved alabaster. Lamp rests upon a marble base. Measures 22" high, 9" wide and 9" deep and weighs an estimated 25-35 lbs. Signed " A Kelety". Old European wiring and plug does not appear to be original and the lamp is believed to be in working condition. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
